The Transplant Support Center is a specialized center dedicated to providing systematic support to patients who have undergone allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplants due to malignant blood diseases so that they can effectively manage the side effects and recover healthily. The center provides comprehensive support throughout the entire recovery process by focusing on post-transplant infection prevention and management, nutritional and physical recovery, an increased family role, and rehabilitation programs. Before transplantation, the center ensures a smooth transplantation process by identifying individuals with matching tissue types and by working closely with stem cell banks and the Department of Laboratory Medicine. In addition, transplant coordinators, along with specialized teams from the Departments of Social Contribution, Nutrition, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation Medicine, and Infectious Diseases work closely together to plan and operate optimal programs tailored to the specific needs of each patient. The Transplant Support Center is not only a simple treatment space, but a reliable partner that helps patients to return to a healthy, everyday life.
