Breast cancer and thyroid cancer are very important diseases that rank the first and second, respectively, among female cancers. Accordingly, diagnosis and treatment of these cancers have gone through several years of remarkable development. For example, as regular check-ups have become more generalized in recent years, a growth is frequently observed in the breast or thyroid. Not all these growths indicate cancer; actually, 80% or more of them are indeed benign tumors (cancer is called malignant). Despite this situation, in Korea, a patient who has been found with a growth is referred to a special hospital, where the waiting time is too long for an examination or biopsy. The fear that it may be cancer causes many women rather more stress than health. Our aim is to minimize the waiting time for an appointment and informing the patient of the care result without delay so that the time consumed can be shortened. Thus, we intend to complete diagnosis and treatment within the minimum time required. Also, we are committed to providing customized care for each patient, pursuing the goal of becoming the best breast and thyroid cancer center in the country.
