In Prevention and Treatment of Preterm Birth Center at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital, individual pregnant women are carefully monitored in a personalized way for gestational age, fetal number and condition to choose surgical closure of incompetent cervix or progesterone therapy to cure the cervix that is weakened to suit individual circumstances in order to prevent preterm birth and perform treatment. Also, the center is performing a close examination to prevent preterm and perform treatment in mothers with early pain, early rupture of membrane, gestational hypertension, fetal growth abnormality, and amniotic fluid and mothers pregnant with multiple babies, which are potential factors of preterm.
